If Meals are offered through the unit at an event; meal prices will be posted, prior to that event, by the camp cook, $20 is standard. Troopers must arrange ahead for meals with the camp cook. This will allow for enough food to be purchased. All payment is due upon arrival. The meal plan usually includes: Saturday breakfast, lunch, and dinner, as well as Sunday breakfast and lunch. Troopers are expected to provide and maintain their own mess utensils.A reduced fee will be charged for single day attendance. Not all events may have a camp kitchen. The company will be advised when no kitchen will be set up.
3. AUTHENTICITY and MILITARY PROTOCOL for the PUBLIC:
To present the highest level of historical accuracy during public viewing hours, 2nd Kentucky will maintain formal military protocol. Officers will be saluted and addressed by rank or as “sir”. Civilians will be addressed as “Mister” or “Misses”.
All non-period items (FARB) will be kept out of sight when camps are open to the public. Beverages will be consumed in period correct vessels. Cell phone conversations will take place out of the public eye. Every effort will be made to keep the entire camp authentic to the 1860’s period we portray. Command Staff will decide any question as to an item's historical accuracy. Any item called into question will be kept from view until authenticity is established. (See By-laws)

8. ALCOHOL CONSUMPTION and QUIET HOURS:
10:00 PM has been established as last call for consumption of alcoholic beverages in camp. This is also the beginning of quiet hours. Any volunteers for night guard detail need to be mindful of their level of alcohol consumption. Failure to report and reporting to duty under the influence is grounds for disciplinary action. It reflects badly on the Company and breaks trust.
9. EDIQUITE and COMMON DECENCY:
At all times, respect the property and space of others. Get permission of owners before handling their weapons or equipment, before entering (open or closed) tents, or opening closed containers. Do not assume any object, including Company property, is available for your use.
10. 2nd KENTUCKY CAMP LAYOUT:
Company streets must be set up in a specific, military fashion. To assureproper camp appearance, members must respond to email announcements, and inform the Company Clerk of the details of their attendance, the numberin their party, size and style of tent(s), and estimated time of arrival. Thisway proper camp space can be provided. Members may be asked to movetheir tent or equipment when it does not adhere to these standards.
